NYC

We were in NY for a total of six weeks.  I spent most of my time there organizing old pictures but I did manage to shoot some new ones to show you.
I have to say, one of our highlights while in NY was spending a day at the NYC-Googleplex.  They have tubs of Legos lying around and people make all sorts of ingenious things.
We went there to visit Jason and Sabrina.  They kept telling us about this gourmet kitchen and impressive view Google has at its office.
Having Legos to play with is one thing, but having a ball pen to relax in brings it to a completely new level of fun.
Rasa was the most excited by the little doggie her mom got.  I called her Swiffer and by time I left, she answered to it.
Then on 25 July was Rasa’s birthday.  I bought her eleven books and have not seen her since then.
As usual, Rasa was busy cooking up a storm for the party.  Here you see her dad enjoying the peach, cherry, blueberry cobbler.
In preparation for our trip to Africa, Rasa got a haircut.  She needed 12-inches in order to donate it for children’s wigs.
I am writing this the night before leaving for Congo Brazzaville.  By the time you are reading it, we should be somewhere deep in the heart of Africa.  Keep and eye out for our new blog format in the next email.
